About Us
since 2016
Academic Tutor Online was founded by Betty Ho and Francisco Bustos, two educators who believe that outstanding teaching should not be limited by geography. The idea was Betty’s: ten years ago, she saw that students around the world needed access to expert, one-to-one tuition regardless of where they lived, and she asked Francisco to partner with her because of his experience as an IELTS examiner and his teaching qualifications. Together they built a service that brings that expertise directly into students’ homes, because they know that the most important factor in a student’s progress is the quality of the relationship they have with their teacher.
We are a small, dedicated team. When you contact us, you will speak to someone who knows your situation and can make decisions, not a call centre or a booking platform.
